There are plenty of deaf social opportunities. Diversity Happy Hour is hosted every month. Austin has a deaf club and clubhouse that is open every Friday and Saturday. There also are many deaf sports in Austin. Texas School for the Deaf has all major sports, and there is deaf club flag football, basketball and softball. Groups play golf, disc golf, and there is a bowling league.
